UFC Fight Night 98 weigh-ins

Live from the Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico is UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Ferguson. While the main event competitors get the official name billing on the evening, this event also serves as the finale for The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale, as lightweights Martin Bravo and Claudio Puelles fight for the right to win the season.

After a lengthy break between events, the UFC returns to Mexico City for an exciting night of fights with a main event matchup that has serious title implications. #2 Rafael Dos Anjos, coming off his title loss to Eddie Alvarez looks to rebound against the surging #3 Tony Ferguson. Winner of eight fights in a row, five of which he finished early by spectacular submission, Tony Ferguson is hungry for his shot at the lightweight title. In order to put his name on the short list, he must get past Dos Anjos, who won five in a row before falling to Alvarez, a streak that included wins over Benson Henderson, Nate Diaz, and an incredible championship-winning performance against Anthony Pettis.

UFC Fight Night 98 also is the home for a pair of talented debutants to the promotion in Marcin Held and Alexa Grasso. Held will be competing under the UFC banner for the first time since making the move from Bellator, where he largely dominated the competition for a number of years. Grasso is moving to the big stage after a four-fight stint with Invicta, where she built on her undefeated professional record.
