*LIVE UPDATES* UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Condit Results

Matthew Wells

Live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is UFC Fight Night: Demian Maia vs. Carlos Condit, or as also billed, UFC on FOX 21.

The main event of the evening features two welterweights ranked in the top five of the division, as third-ranked Demian Maia faces fourth-ranked Carlos Condit. This was a  fight originally scheduled to take place on the main card of UFC 202 but was moved to this card to fill in the headlining spot to give the Canadian fans an incredible matchup with potential title-shot implications.

In the co-main event, Anthony Pettis drops down to the featherweight division in an attempt to find a fresh start and get his name back in the win column after hitting a rough patch in the lightweight division. His opponent is Charles Oliveira, who is coming off a first-round submission victory over Myles Jury.

Paige VanZant also returns to action tonight after her long layoff due to participating in Dancing with the Stars. She is set to square off against “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings, who is riding a two-fight win streak.

Rounding out the main card is a rematch of a classic battle between Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller. Their first matchup in 2012 was one of the most brutal and bloodiest fights the sport has ever seen.

Stay tuned to this post throughout the evening for official results of the bouts,  and keep up with up to the moment action by following us on Twitter: @MMALatestnws.
