UFC Fight Night Albany Results Lewis

On Friday night a packed UFC weekend begins with a return to New York. The UFC will be in Albany for a Fight Night card on Friday, before UFC 206 takes place in Toronto the following night. UFC Fight Night Albany airs live on UFC Fight Pass.

The main event is a clash between hard-hitting heavyweights as fan-favourite Derrick Lewis faces Shamil Abdurakhimov. Both fighters are near the bottom end of the top 15 rankings and will be looking to make a dent in the top ten with an impressive performance. Lewis has won four straight since losing to Shawn Jordan in 2015, while Abdurakhimov has won his last two.

With a number of fights falling through the eventual co-main event is another heavyweight showdown as Francis Ngannou meets Anthony Hamilton. Ngannou is a perfect 3-0 in his UFC run, while Hamilton is coming off a big 14 second knockout of Damian Grabowski back in July. Hamilton has gone 3-3 in the UFC since signing with the promotion in 2014.
