UFC Fight Night Houston Weigh-in Results

The official weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs. The Korean Zombie took place this morning at the Sheraton North in Houston, Texas.

This event features the return of “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung who returns to action in his first bout since his title bout loss to Jose Aldo in 2013. Jung takes on Dennis Bermudez in the main event of the evening who looks to extend his winning streak to three.

The first wave of fighters began to hit the scales at 9:05 AM CST, with Chas Skelly kicking off the festivities. Michinori Tanaka was the final fighter to weigh-in at 10:30 AM CST, hitting his contracted weight of 135 pounds.

Only one fighter would miss their contracted weight, as Bec Rawlings weighed in at 117.5 lbs. She is scheduled to fight against Tecia Torres on the preliminary portion of the fight card and will forfeit 20% of her purse to Torres.

Abel Trujillo needed the assistance of the towel to hit the mark of 156 pounds, while Alexa Grasso also needed the assistance of the halo to weigh-in at 116 pounds.

2017 IMMAF World Championships set to be streamed live on IOS and Android app

This years IMMAF World Championships in Bahrain is only 4 days away now and competitors from around the world are preparing themselves for what will be an extraordinary event and opportunity to make themselves known. The UFC hosted their second event in the country of Poland, as UFC Gdsank took place at the Ergo Arena. The card was headlined by a welterweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Darren Till.

Cerrone (32-9) was coming off a close unanimous decision loss to former 170-pound champion Robbie Lawler in July. It was the only time in “Cowboy’s” MMA career that he had suffered consecutive losses.

Till (15-0-1) improved his undefeated record in September, defeating Bojan Veličković by unanimous decision. It was a case of old school vs. new school in this headliner, as the up and comer Till hoped to secure the biggest win of his career over Cerrone.
